Focused on Livability, Opportunity, and Transparency

Supervisor Bradford was elected in November of 2016 and took office on January 10, 2017. Gary was elected Vice Chair in 2020 and Chair in 2021. He served as chair of the Yuba Water Agency in 2022 and 2023.

Gary and his wife Jennifer live in Plumas Lake with their two kids Justin and Megan. Gary graduated from the University of California at Davis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.  He and his family have lived in south Yuba County for 18 years.

Shortly after moving to Plumas Lake, Gary created a forum for residents to interact with each other online in order to build community and share information. The forum turned out to be a catalyst for Gary’s community involvement. Based on discussions on the forum, he became interested in, and educated about, the levee upgrades underway by TRLIA. As a result, when a seat opened up on the RD784 board in July 2008, Gary applied and was appointed to the position. He served on the RD784 board for 2.5 years before deciding to successfully run for a seat on the OPUD board in response to community complaints about the district. Gary served on the OPUD board for 6 years before being elected to County Supervisor in November 2016.

Gary is passionate about being a voice for those he represents. He is well known for being an active participant in online community groups, spreading information about decisions he is involved in, answering constituent questions, and receiving community input.

As your current supervisor, we have achieved a lot together. But there is still much work to be done. My focus is on ensuring livability and opportunity for Arboga, Plumas Lake, Wheatland, and all of Yuba County. I am committed to making Yuba County a great place to live, work, and play. Let's continue to work together. Re-elect Supervisor Bradford.

Livability, Opportunity, and Transparency

As your supervisor, my mission is simple: to ensure that every member of our community has the opportunity to thrive. This means improving the quality of life and creating economic opportunities. I'll ensure you know what your County Government is doing for you and I'll be available and responsive to hear your feedback, answer your questions, and be your advocate.

Let's work together to make Yuba County an even better place to call home.
